Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an HR professional to support daily HR operations, payroll administration, and staff development within the hotel. The role requires ensuring policy compliance, accurate reporting, and timely payroll processing across the team.

You will coordinate training, drive employee engagement initiatives, assist with performance management, and support HR audits to uphold standards and confidentiality in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in HR or related field.
• 3-5 years HR experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Experience with payroll, engagement, and HR audits.
• Previous supervisory or assistant managerial experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily HR tasks and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare HR reports and support budgeting.
• Oversee payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.
• Coordinate training programs and staff development.
• Support employee engagement, wellness, and events.
• Assist with performance reviews, discipline, and recordkeeping.
• Assist HRM in audits and compliance.
