Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and build the HR function across three sections, ensuring compliant, timely hiring, payroll, development and performance management for local and foreign staff.

The role sets HR strategy, plans manpower and development with Management, monitors KPIs, manages the HR team and fosters a positive, productive workplace culture aligned with Malaysian labour law and company objectives.

Qualifications

• 7 years of generalist HR experience in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or MBA; professional HR certificates.
• Minimum 3 years in HR Manager / Assistant Manager roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the HR team; set KPIs and review their scorecards monthly.
• Own the HR operating model: section scope, SOPs, templates, calendars and trackers.
• Build each HR staff member’s capability so the department does not depend on one person.
• Coach HODs on KPI setting, probation, appraisal and discipline so they follow HR process.
• Oversee payroll inputs, attendance reports and statutory payments with accuracy.
• Oversee admin, facilities, assets and staff welfare within budget.
