Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced Sales & Business Development professional to drive new business in freight forwarding and logistics. You will manage key client relationships, lead the sales team, and strive to meet ambitious targets.

You will develop strategies, present proposals to clients, negotiate rates, and collaborate with Operations to ensure top service. The role requires at least 1 year in freight forwarding sales and a hunter mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding sales.
• Proven track record in developing and closing local business opportunities.
• Experience in air, sea, and land freight, warehousing, and fulfilment.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and customs procedures.
• Hunter mindset with the ability to identify and develop local and global business opportunities.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Analytical, strategic, and results-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain solutions.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and business growth.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with clients, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and other vendors.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and new opportunities.
• Implement marketing plans aligned with company objectives and annual revenue targets.
• Manage sales activities with overseas agents and networks to generate targeted Sales Leads and Routing Orders.
• Identify and develop new revenue opportunities to maximize sales and profitability.
