Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven sales/business development experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, import/export and related logistics services.
• Existing customer network and connections within Malaysian logistics/freight forwarding market.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Good knowledge of the Malaysia freight forwarding market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business and revenue targets.
• Identify and acquire new customers in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Generate leads through market research, networking, referrals, and industry contacts.
• Prepare and present quotations and commercial proposals to customers.
• Negotiate rates and commercial terms with customers.
• Coordinate with the operations and pricing teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide regular sales reports.
• Meet monthly and annual sales targets.
