Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a Manager—Business—Corporate Banking to manage existing commercial banking clients and acquire new relationships. The role reports to the Business Center Manager and focuses on growing funded and non-funded income with tailored financial solutions.

The candidate should have a degree in Finance or Economics and at least 5 years of experience in commercial loan/sales, with strong credit and relationship management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance / Economics or equivalent with 5+ years in commercial loan/sales.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new account relationships and manage a portfolio of Commercial Banking Account Relationships.
• Grow funded and non-funded income from the portfolio through value-added banking advice and solutions.
• Prepare and write credit applications for new acquisitions and renewals.
• Ensure asset quality and stay proactive with market intelligence for managed accounts.
• Collaborate with Trade Services, Global Markets, and Deposit & Liability teams to meet client banking needs.
• Ensure facilities comply with credit lending policies and address key risks before Wholesale Credit submission.
• Preserve asset quality and monitor facility utilization to increase revenue.
• Follow through with clients to secure acceptance and drawdown of facilities.
