Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or purchasing management experience in construction.
• Proven record of supplier relationships and contract negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and supplier markets.
• Excellent analytical and cost management skills.
• Proficiency with procurement systems and MS Office.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of Malaysia construction procurement standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with objectives.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Negotiate contracts and purchase agreements.
• Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory for projects.
• Monitor supplier performance and relationships.
• Coordinate with project managers to identify material needs.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify savings opportunities.
• Maintain procurement records and reporting.
