Job summary

ANTARA KOH (M) SDN BHD seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee projects in Pengerang, Johor. You will drive delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality are met while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensure rigorous site documentation and reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in construction management or a similar senior construction role.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities with the capability to motivate and coordinate diverse workforces.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent professional certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets and quality specifications
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on all construction sites
• Manage and resolve conflicts between project stakeholders and address any on-site issues promptly
• Supervise site teams and coordinate the work of multiple contractors and tradespeople
• Ensure compliance with regulations, codes and permits
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join ANTARA KOH (M) SDN BHD in Pengerang, Johor. As Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
