Job summary

TKS CAPITAL HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. is seeking a proactive Purchasing/Procurement professional to manage daily purchasing activities, source suppliers, and obtain competitive quotations for construction projects.

You will coordinate material deliveries with project and site teams, process POs, verify invoices, and maintain purchasing records. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience and strong Excel skills, with Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement.
• Experience in construction, renovation, interior design or related industry is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Accounting System is preferred.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese/Mandarin.
• Good knowledge of construction / building materials is an advantage.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Organized, proactive, responsible and able to work under pressure.
• Able to manage multiple purchasing requirements and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing and procurement activities
• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations
• Compare prices, negotiate with suppliers and control purchasing costs
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO)
• Coordinate material deliveries with project and site teams
• Monitor outstanding orders and delivery schedules
• Verify DO, PO and supplier invoices
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Update purchasing transactions using SQL Accounting System
• Work closely with Operations, Project, QS and Accounts Departments
