Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kulai, Johor seeks a proactive procurement coordinator to source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage purchasing in line with budgets.

You will work closely with project teams to understand timelines and technical needs, prepare monthly procurement reports, and ensure invoices and POs are accurately matched, supporting cost control and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• SPM / Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management & Logistics, Business Administration, Business Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
• Familiarity with construction machinery, equipment, spare parts, and tools is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and purchase materials, tools, equipment, and services in accordance with company requirements and budget.
• Liaise with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and site engineers to understand project timelines and technical requirements for effective procurement planning.
• Prepare and submit detailed monthly reports, including purchase orders (PO) issued and equipment maintenance reports.
• Ensure all invoices are accurately matched with the corresponding purchase orders and delivery orders, and hand over complete documentation to the Accounts Department on time.
• Prepare and maintain cost comparison analyses to maximize cost savings and control expenditure against the approved budget.
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by Management from time to time.
