Job summary

TE Connectivity in Malaysia is seeking a Distribution Market Manager to drive sales growth through our distributor network. You will engage distributors and end customers, ensuring cohesive interactions across TE BUs and delivering technical and commercial support.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, 5+ years in distribution sales, and strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in either business or engineering (required).
• 5+ years of experience in sales – distribution sales preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present to senior management.
• Strong negotiation skills across all organizational levels.
• Self-motivated with the ability to assess market needs and drive outcomes.
• Proven ability to build relationships across functions (BU, Product Management, Marketing).

Responsibilities

• Engage in the sale of TE Connectivity products through distributor networks.
• Serve as primary contact for TE products sold via distribution in the marketplace.
• Provide technical and administrative support to distributors and end customers.
• Grow TE Connectivity’s market share and manage the opportunity pipeline.
• Coordinate training and alignment of local GTM strategies with distributor branches.
• Lead programs like the Design Registration Program and Co-op activities.
