Job summary

MACTION Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, develop programs, drive sales, and expand MACTION’s footprint in business education and consultancy.

You will build B2B partnerships, target SMEs, and guide a sales team to convert opportunities into long-lasting client relationships. Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is essential to engage Mandarin-speaking clients and diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, preferably in training, education, consultancy, or B2B services.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin proficiency essential).

Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth: Develop and execute effective business development plans to grow revenue and market presence.
• Program Development: Create and launch new training and consultancy programs aligned with market needs and company goals.
• Client Acquisition: Identify, approach, and secure new B2B clients (especially SMEs) seeking to scale or franchise their businesses.
• Partnerships & Franchising: Build strong relationships with industry partners and support clients in exploring franchising opportunities.
• Marketing & Promotion: Work with the marketing team to design impactful campaigns and events that boost brand awareness and sales.
• Market Research: Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and refine strategies.
