You will build relationships with potential franchisees, investors, merchants, tenants, and strategic business partners across Sabah, Sarawak, and Peninsular Malaysia. The position involves market research, feasibility studies, location evaluation, and coordination of new outlet expansion projects from planning to opening.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to support expansion, sales, and revenue growth.
Identify, approach, and build relationships with potential franchisees, investors, merchants, tenants, and strategic business partners.
Develop and maintain relationships with landlords, investors, suppliers, government agencies, and business partners, including negotiating commercial terms and agreements.
Conduct market and competitor research to assess customer demand, industry trends, business potential, and suitable expansion opportunities across Sabah, Sarawak, and Peninsular Malaysia.
Generate business leads, follow up with prospective clients and partners, prepare proposals and presentations, and manage opportunities through to successful closure.
Identify and evaluate potential outlet locations based on market demand, customer traffic, demographics, rental costs, sales potential, operational suitability, and expected return on investment.
Coordinate new outlet expansion projects from planning to opening, working with internal teams, landlords, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion and operational readiness.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, F&B, franchise development, property, or a related industry.
Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, F&B Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of business development, sales, market analysis, negotiation, and commercial opportunities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Willing to travel for business meetings, market research, site visits, and expansion activities.
Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation would be an advantage.
Experience in F&B, franchising, outlet expansion, property, or strategic partnerships.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Preferable candidate that able to communicate in Chinese/Mandarin.
