Job summary

Classic Advantage Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a storekeeper assistant to support receiving and packaging operations, focusing on safety, housekeeping and inventory accuracy.

You will supervise store activities in the absence of the supervisor, ensure stock accuracy, and coordinate in loading/unloading, and moving materials with hand trucks, reach-trucks or forklifts when required. This is an on-site role based in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year relevant working experience
• Able to work for long hours and Sundays/public holidays
• Able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Supervise store activities in the supervisor's absence
• Ensure stock accuracy
• Motivate subordinates in store functions
• Ensure goods are ready for racking
• Assist and coordinate ad hoc assignments
• Load/unload materials by hand or with equipment
• Convey packaging to/from storage using hand truck/reach-truck/forklift
• Move materials within or near plant using reach-truck/forklift

Job description

Assist storekeeper and supervisor to manage activities of store receiving for packaging in terms of safety, housekeeping and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise activities in store when supervisor is not around
• Ensure stock accuracy
• Motivate subordinate regarding store related function
• Make sure all goods are ready for racking
• Assist and coordinate in any ad hoc assignments as and when required and necessary
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Convey packaging to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck/Reach-truck or forklift if required
• Load, unload, and move materials within or near plant using reach-truck or forklift if required

About you

• Minimum 1 year relevant working experience
• Able to work for long hours and working during Sunday and public holiday
• Able to work independently and under minimum supervision
