Job summary

Guppy Plastic Industries - Melaka Branch requires a QC/Measurement technician to conduct daily measurements for DID, OQC and incoming parts, recording data and reporting any dimensional deviations to the molding department for corrective actions.

Applicants should hold a Diploma in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Chemical/ Polymer, be able to read drawings, operate basic measurement tools, and use MS Office for documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Chemical/ Polymer or equivalent.
• Able to read drawings properly.
• Able to use basic measurement tools.
• Able to use MS Office & handle documentation.
• Able to follow the SOP for measurement.

Responsibilities

• Perform measurement for DID, OQC and incoming parts daily.
• Measure part weight every part daily.
• Inform molding department to do adjustments if there are errors in measurement.
• Ensure all data performed is recorded.
• Key in the result data in the report template.
• Submit and upload the result report into the server.
• Perform remeasurement for any part with dimension errors after improvements.
• Attend department morning/closing meetings.
• Perform 5S at the workplace.

Able to use Microsoft Office & handle documentation.

Able to follow the SOP measurement.

Responsibility

To ensure measurement for DID, OQC and incoming are OK.

To notify molding department to do an adjustment or improvement if have any error in measurement.

To ensure all data performed is recorded.

Function

Perform measurement for DID, OQC and incoming part daily.

Measure part weight every single part daily.

Inform if any dimension error during perform measurement.

Key in the result data in report template.

Submit and upload the result report into server.

Perform remeasure for any single part that have error dimension after improvement.

Perform department meeting for morning/ closing daily.

Perform 5S at workplace.
