Job summary

Classic Advantage Sdn. Bhd.

in Kulai, Johor, invites applications for a Quality Control Technician to ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products meet quality standards through inspection, testing and documentation. You will perform incoming, in-process and final inspections, record results, and support corrective actions while collaborating with Production, Engineering and QA teams to uphold safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections according to established procedures and specifications.
• Inspect products using appropriate measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment.
• Verify product dimensions, appearance, functionality, and other quality characteristics.
• Record inspection and test results accurately and maintain quality documentation.
• Identify, segregate, and report defective or non-conforming products.
• Assist in investigating root causes of quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and work instructions.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Support internal, customer, and external quality audits when required.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with workplace safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Perform other quality-related duties assigned by the Supervisor or Quality Manager.

Job description

To ensure raw materials, in-process products, and finished products meet established quality specifications, standards, and customer requirements through effective inspection, testing, documentation, and monitoring. The role supports the production team in identifying and preventing quality issues and contributes to continuous process improvement.

2. Duties & Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections according to established procedures and specifications.

Inspect products using appropriate measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment.

Verify product dimensions, appearance, functionality, and other quality characteristics.

Conduct sampling and testing of materials and products following inspection plans.

Record inspection and test results accurately and maintain quality documentation.

Identify, segregate, and report defective or non-conforming products.

Assist in investigating root causes of quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and work instructions.

Work closely with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
