Job summary

Polydamic Sdn Bhd in Ipoh is seeking a Storekeeper to receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods, and to maintain accurate inventory records across materials and finished goods.

You will organize storage, assist with stock issuance, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the store. Basic computer skills and 1–2 years’ warehousing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
Preferably 1–2 years of working experience in store keeping, warehousing or inventory control.
Basic computer knowledge and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against Purchase Orders and Delivery Orders.
Arrange proper storage, labeling and organisation of raw materials, spare parts, tools and finished goods.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the system.
Handle stock issuance to production and project teams based on approved requests.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged items.
Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts and annual stocktaking.
Prepare and maintain proper documentation for goods received, issued and returned.
Coordinate with the Purchasing and Production departments on material requirements and deliveries.
Ensure the store is clean, organised and complies with workplace safety procedures.
Perform other store-related duties as assigned by management.
