Job summary

Klitz Vibrant Imported Kitchens Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement professional to manage supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, and purchasing planning in Penang. You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure cost-effective material sourcing to support project delivery.

The role requires 1-2 years in procurement, a diploma or degree in business or supply chain, and strong English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or related field.
• Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
• Strong command of English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
• Independent, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotations from suppliers and prepare detailed price comparison analysis.
• Identify, source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to strengthen the supplier base.
• Ensure strict compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with project and contract teams to ensure timely purchasing.
• Review procurement needs and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
• Source and compare quotations, evaluate suppliers, and recommend best options.
• Assist in planning deliveries, controlling stock, and maintaining purchase records.
• Enforce procurement policies and support continuous improvement in supply chain processes.

Job description

Ensure strict compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Coordinate closely with project and contract teams to ensure timely and accurate purchasing.

Review procurement needs and ensure materials are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.

Source and compare quotations, evaluate suppliers, and recommend the best options.

Assist in planning deliveries, controlling stock, and maintaining purchase records.

Enforce procurement policies and support continuous improvement in supply chain processes.

Handle any ad-hoc purchasing duties as required.

Job Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related field.

Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, or other related disciplines.

Good command of English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders (both written and spoken).

Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently with a positive attitude.
