Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Starec Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Purchasing professional for a manufacturing client based in Malaysia. The role focuses on sourcing raw materials, supplier negotiations, and ensuring timely deliveries aligned with production plans.

You will collaborate with Production Planning and Warehouse, maintaining inventory levels and accurate records in line with ISO standards. English and Bahasa proficiency is required, with additional local dialects encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of Purchasing experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Experience purchasing Raw Materials / Industrial Commodities.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems with exposure in ISO 9001/14001 are advantageous.
• Good command in English & Bahasa. Other local dialects are desired.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials based on production requirements.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate prices and delivery terms.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
• Work closely with Production Planning and Warehouse to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation in line with organization and ISO standards.
