Job summary

OpenSys (M) Berhad is seeking a Software Support Engineer to provide software support for existing applications and systems, investigate and resolve customer issues, and collaborate with Call Centre, Field Engineers and clients to prioritise and troubleshoot problems.

On-site support may be required for system installation and upgrades, while you maintain troubleshooting processes, conduct application testing, and participate in software development as a secondary task.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide software support for existing applications and systems.
• Investigate and resolve issues and disputes raised by the customer.
• Interact with Call Centre, Field Engineer and Customer to prioritise, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Provide on-site support when required including system installation and upgrading activity.
• Maintain technical troubleshooting processes and procedures.
• Perform application testing.
• Involve in software development as a secondary task.
