Job summary

Quintus Search is seeking a capable IT support professional in Malaysia to install and customize software, troubleshoot customer issues, and monitor system health. You will respond to issues around the clock as assigned and help maintain the office network and server equipment.

The candidate should have OS installation knowledge, experience with distributed OS/databases, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills, with an independent, deadline-driven work style.

Qualifications

Knowledge in OS installation and configuration is advantageous.
Knowledge in distributed OS and databases (Wintel/Unix/AIX/Linux/SQL/Oracle).
Networking skills are an added advantage.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
Initiative, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

To perform software installation and customization.
To troubleshoot and follow-up on issues reported by customers.
Monitor, trouble-shoot and administer the software, track and report software maintenance, and consult with technical management on software changes to the systems.
Respond to customer issues 24 x 7, as assigned.
Maintaining of the office network and server equipment.
