Job summary

FIT Future Innovation Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our construction team in Penang. This full-time on-site role oversees daily operations, coordinates with contractors, and ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You will lead site teams, monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, manage records, and communicate with project managers and clients to address changes and risks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in construction supervision or similar role on sites.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia construction methods, materials, safety regulations and codes.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct on-site construction workers and contractors.

• Conduct site inspections for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain safety protocols and PPE adherence on site.

About the role

FIT Future Innovation Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Supervisor to join our construction team in Penang. This is a full‑time position based on‑site, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily construction operations and ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing site teams, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role is integral to the successful delivery of our construction projects and directly impacts project profitability and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct construction workers and contractors on-site, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely
• Monitor project progress daily and ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality of work and compliance with construction standards and regulations
• Manage site safety protocols and ensure all personnel follow health and safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to communicate project status and address any concerns or changes
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets, material logs, and safety documentation
• Order and manage materials and equipment to ensure adequate supplies are available for project completion
• Identify and resolve on-site issues and challenges promptly to minimise delays and disruptions
• Train and mentor construction crew members and provide ongoing performance feedback
• Ensure the site is maintained in a clean, organised and secure condition at all times

What we're looking for

• 5+ years' experience in construction supervision or a similar supervisory role on construction sites
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations and building codes relevant to Malaysia
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with workers, contractors, clients and management
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints and technical drawings
• Sound understanding of project budgeting and cost control principles
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and ability to enforce safety protocols on‑site
• Physical fitness and capability to perform site inspections and work in outdoor construction environments
• Relevant qualifications such as a Construction Supervisor Certificate or equivalent recognised qualification (preferred)
• Valid driving licence (preferred)
