Job summary

REGAL ELECTRONICS SDN BHD is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee direct labour and subcontractor activities across Malaysia. You will inspect works to verify specifications, monitor progress, and troubleshoot issues to meet deadlines. The role requires reading blueprints, maintaining safety practices, and coordinating with the project team.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic) or related field.
• Capable of maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing fire suppression/sprinkler/hydrant/hose reel systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and PPE.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia & English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct labour and subcontractor work to complete facilities.
• Inspect works at specified stages to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Monitor site progress and troubleshoot issues to meet completion deadlines.
• Attend site and off-site meetings as required.
• Record daily site activities including material deliveries and workforce by trades.
• Submit weekly status reports to the project manager highlighting quality issues and risks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by superior.
• Understand fire protection requirements in line with company SOP.

Job description

Supervising and controlling the direct labors and subcontractor’s work for completion of the respective facilities.

Undertaking inspection of works at appropriate stages to ensure conformance to specification.

Monitor site progress, troubleshoot any issues to meet completion datelines.

Attend site and off-site meetings as and when required.

Record daily site activities including material deliveries and workforce by trades.

Submit weekly report summary to project manager on status of work by trades, highlight quality issues, and anticipated problems.

Other tasks which assigned by immediate superior.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic) or any related field from recognized institution.
• Those without qualification or with working experience are encouraged to apply.
• Capable of maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing fire suppression/sprinkler/hydrant/hose reel systems in accordance with applicable standards
• Knowledge and skill in the safe operation and application of test instruments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, instructions, and other technical documentation
• Ability to complete accurate and timely maintenance and work records
• Knowledge of safe work practices, lockout/tag-out procedures and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Proficient in both spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia & English.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• High integrity and able to maintain confidentially at all times.
• Good interpersonal, communication, planning, and organizing skills.
• Able to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
• Able to work extra hours when required.
• Possess own transport.
• Applicants must be willing to work in KL and travel to outstation.
