Job summary

Mighty Rings Engineering Sdn Bhd – Selangor is seeking a Site Engineer to lead and schedule fire protection system installations on-site, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery. You will act as backup to the Site Supervisor and collaborate with clients, consultants, and the main contractor.

The role requires hands-on experience with fire protection systems, familiarity with MS and NFPA standards, and on-site engineering delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fire Protection System installation and on-site delivery.
• Familiarity with MS and NFPA standards is preferred.
• Engineers with M&E services background are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily/weekly site operations planning for fire protection systems.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specs, and schedule.
• Monitor progress, assist manpower and materials with supervisor.
• Prepare and review MOS/MS, shop drawings (AutoCAD 2D).
• Coordinate with M&E drawings and main contractor.
• Supervise junior/site engineers and act as backup for site supervisor.
• Manage drawings, RFIs, submissions, and document control via Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Plan and execute system testing and coordinate with RE/clients for inspections.

Job Summary

To lead and schedule fire protection system installation on-site, ensuring quality installation, owner & client compliance, and progress delivery. serve as backup of Site supervisor.

Experience in Fire Protection System, technical on-site knowledge of installations procedures, familiarity with MS & NFPA will be given priority. Engineers with M&E services are also welcomed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project & Site Management

• Lead daily, weekly, monthly site operations planning for fire protection systems.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and schedule
• Monitor progress, assist in manpower and materials alongside supervisor.
• Conduct site material inspections, installation inspection, testing inspections with calibrated equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

2. Technical & Engineering Deliverables

• Able to Prepare and review:
  • Method of Statement (MOS)
  • Method Statement (MS)
  • Shop Drawings and As-Built Drawings (AutoCAD 2D)
• Ensure coordination with other M&E and main contractor drawings
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site.

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

• Supervise and guide junior/site engineers, act as interim backup for site supervisors
• Allocate tasks and monitor team performance
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and clients
• Attend site meetings and technical discussions

4. Digital Project Management (ACC)

• Manage drawings, RFIs, submissions, and document control via Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Track project updates, issues, and coordination workflows
• Ensure proper version control and documentation compliance

5. Compliance & Authority Requirements

• Support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities

6. Testing & Commissioning

• Plan and execute system testing (pressure test, continuity test, Fire alarm testing, etc.)
• Coordinate with RE & clients for inspections.
• Ensure proper documentation and handover.
