Job summary

Kee Ming Electrical Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor in Malaysia to monitor and enforce safety standards across our construction and M&E projects. You will lead daily site inspections, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with DOSH/JKKP Yellow Book (SSS) and company safety requirements.

The role involves coordinating with site teams and subcontractors on high‑risk activities and maintaining comprehensive safety documentation to support regulatory compliance and project success.

Qualifications

• Valid DOSH/JKKP Yellow Book (SSS).
• Minimum 2 years’ site safety experience.
• Experience in construction / M&E projects.
• Good knowledge of site safety regulations and procedures.
• Able to conduct site inspection, toolbox meeting, HIRARC and safety documentation.
• Able to monitor workers and subcontractors on site.
• Data Centre / M&E experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety practices for external utility works including ducting, piping, material handling, confined spaces, and cable installation.
• Monitor safety compliance for electrical package works, including lifting, drilling, cable trunking and high-level tasks.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and ensure compliance with permits and procedures.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting operations, confined spaces, hot works, and electrical tasks.
• Conduct toolbox briefings and safety awareness sessions; report unsafe acts or conditions.
• Assist in maintaining safety records and regulatory documentation.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

The candidates shall be responsible for assisting in monitoring and maintaining site safety standards and ensuring all project activities are carried out safely and in compliance with the Company's safety requirements, including but not limited to the following duties:

• Monitor safety practices for external utility works, including:
  • Ducting and piping installation activities.
  • Material lifting and handling activities.
  • Confined space activities, including mandrel testing at manholes.
  • Cable installation works.
• Monitor safety compliance for electrical package works, including:
  • Equipment installation activities involving lifting and drilling works.
  • Cable trunking and cable tray installation works, including high-level works, drilling, and welding activities.
  • Lighting and power circuitry installation works.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and ensure workers comply with approved safety procedures, work permits, and safety requirements.
• Monitor high-risk activities, including lifting operations, confined space activities, hot works, and electrical-related works.
• Conduct toolbox briefings, safety awareness sessions, and report any unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, or non-compliance to the relevant parties.
• Assist in maintaining safety records, reports, and documentation required for project and regulatory compliance.
• Perform any other safety-related or ad hoc duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
