Job summary

SaveLite Engineering Sdn. Bhd. seeks an Electrical/ELV professional to prepare M&E drawings, inspect installations and ensure contractual compliance. The role supports tender division and coordinates with consultants, contractors and authorities on site progress and documentation. Experience with commercial buildings is preferred.

The candidate will review layouts for functionality, cost efficiency, and maintainability, while ensuring ISO documentation and progress claims are accurately reported.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to commercial buildings preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Strong analysis, design, project management and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle M&E coordination with consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction, shop drawing and as-built drawing for M&E systems.
• Ensure works comply with contract specifications.
• Assist pre-contract and tender division with electrical & ELV tender support.
• Coordinate, monitor and review construction work progress.
• Inspect and report on installations completed by contractors.
• Verify subcontractor progress and prepare monthly progress claims.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and authorities on M&E matters.
• Review M&E layouts for functionality, maintainability and cost efficiency.
• File and maintain ISO-compliant forms, reports and documentation.

Job description

To prepare Construction, Shop drawing & As built drawing for M&E System.

To ensure works are done as per contract's specification.

To assist pre-contract & tender division with tender support for Electrical & ELV services/project support.

To coordinate, monitor and review construction work progress.

To undertake all other duties and responsibilities as instructed.

Inspection and reporting of installation works completed by Contractor.

Ensuring all materials delivered to site conform with the approved specifications and Contract requirements.

Identifying all outstanding work to be carried out timely to meet the timeline stipulated in the Contracts.

Identifying potential problems and delay at site and report regularly to superiors on the progress of works.

Filing of all relevant forms, documents, reports, correspondence and records in accordance with ISO requirement.

To verify subcontractor, claim progress and prepare progress claim for submission to client/consultant according to site monthly progress.

Attend and coordinate all M&E matters with various Consultants, Contractors and relevant Authorities.

Review and ensure M&E layout design in terms of functionality, build ability, maintainability, cost efficiency, and sustainability aspects are complied with.

Liaise and coordinate with Consultants for M&E submissions and approvals.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably minimum 2 years relevant working experience.
• Candidate have ever expose to commercial building.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD.
• Good in Analysis, Design skills, Project Management and Procedures, Process Improvement,
• Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Safety Management and Supervision.
• Have experience in handling commercial buildings project.
