About the role

We are seeking Site Supervisor (one to two years) experience to join C N H CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN. BHD. in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on site, managing teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality construction work and represents a key leadership position within our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and timelines
• Manage and motivate construction teams, including labourers, craftspeople, and sub-contractors, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company standards
• Monitor project progress and report on site activities, budgets, and resource allocation to senior management
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labour hours, ensuring all documentation is up to date
• Identify and resolve on-site issues and challenges promptly, minimising delays and ensuring continuity of work
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, conducting toolbox talks and ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) is properly used
• Manage material deliveries and storage, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimal wastage
• Train and mentor junior staff and new team members, sharing knowledge and best practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum one years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations applicable in Malaysia
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and communicate effectively with diverse teams
• Sound understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent attention to detail
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various construction sites as required
• Preferably holds relevant certifications such as CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) qualifications or equivalent
• Knowledge of health and safety management systems and experience implementing safety protocols on site
