Job summary

HB Glass & Aluminium in Malaysia is seeking a capable site supervisor for construction projects. The role requires proven supervisory experience on construction sites, knowledge of methods, materials, and regulations, and strong leadership to guide teams.

You will conduct site checks, prepare daily progress reports, coordinate with subcontractors and main contractors, monitor schedules, enforce safety, report delays, and assist in logistics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site checks and inspections to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports detailing work, manpower, materials, and site issues.
• Coordinate and communicate efficiently with subcontractors (subcon) and main contractors (maincon) to ensure smooth workflow and resolve on-site issues.
• Monitor work schedules and ensure timely execution of activities per project timelines.
• Enforce site safety protocols and company regulations.
• Report delays, risks, or deviations from the plan to the Project Manager promptly.
• Assist in site logistics, material management, and site housekeeping.
