Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable supervisor for construction projects to oversee site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership and the ability to read construction drawings, with proficiency in MS Office for daily reports and communications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role in construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site checks and inspections to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports detailing work completed, manpower, materials, and site issues.
• Coordinate and communicate efficiently with subcontractors (subcon) and main contractors (maincon) to ensure smooth workflow and resolve on-site issues.
• Monitor work schedules and ensure timely execution of activities as per project timelines.
• Enforce site safety protocols and company regulations.
• Report any delays, risks, or deviations from the plan to the Project Manager promptly.
• Assist in site logistics, material management, and site housekeeping.
