Job summary

Hexatech Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Supervisor (M&E) to oversee day-to-day site operations in Malaysia, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of projects. You will coordinate site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, while ensuring drawings and specifications are followed and progress is properly reported.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years in M&E or construction, with the ability to read electrical drawings, lead teams, and manage multiple tasks across project sites.

Qualifications

• SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in M&E services, engineering or construction related industry.
• Able to read and interpret M&E/electrical drawings and coordinate site installation works.
• Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate site workers and subcontractors, monitoring productivity, work progress, attendance, and overall performance.
• Supervise and carry out M&E works, including ACMV, electrical, telecommunication, lighting, earthing, fire protection, and related systems.
• Ensure installation works are carried out according to approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Monitor work-in-progress, site inspections, material requirements, and rectification works, and prepare daily site progress reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other parties to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality management systems (QMS), proper use of tools/equipment, PPE requirements, and emergency/on-call support when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management or immediate supervisor.

• Willing to relocate or work at outstation project sites when required.
• Possess own transport and be willing to travel to project sites.
