Job summary

IAQ Group is seeking a Site Supervisor for a Kulim construction project. You will supervise and coordinate all site activities, ensure works follow plans, specs, and local regulations, and liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities.

Familiarity with construction drawings, ability to plan construction sequence, monitor sub-contractors, maintain safety and quality, and prepare progress reports is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 1 year of experience in the related industry preferred.
• Able to operate MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all activities that are carried out at the construction site.
• Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and local regulations.
• Monitor and manage sub-contractors, ensuring their compliance with project timelines and quality requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the proper installation, functioning, and maintenance of M&E systems.
• Attend meetings and liaise closely with client/ consultant as well as local authorities pertaining to the project.
• Ensure discipline and good morale are maintained at the construction site.
• Ensure site safety and health requirements are maintained and practiced at all times.
• Ensure the quality of work is up to specified requirements.
• Preparation of work progress reports and other relevant reports for the project.
• Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site.
• Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned

• Familiar to integrate and coordinate all discipline in construction site work.


• Understand the construction drawing to plan the construction sequence.
