Job summary

LK Global Engineering in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Supervisor for daily mechanical maintenance activities at client sites. You will lead and monitor maintenance workers, subcontractors, and site personnel, ensuring work aligns with drawings, instructions, and schedules.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings, strong leadership and communication, and readiness to travel to project sites. You will uphold safety procedures and coordinate with clients and engineers to deliver quality

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, construction, or engineering works.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Strong leadership, coordination and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to project/client sites and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mechanical maintenance activities at the client/project site
• Lead and monitor maintenance workers, subcontractors, and site personnel
• Ensure works are carried out according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Coordinate mechanical works including repair, replacement, installation, dismantling, fabrication, and troubleshooting
• Monitor manpower, tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials required for maintenance activities
• Coordinate with clients, Project Managers, Engineers, maintenance teams, and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PTW requirements, PPE, and site rules
• Conduct and participate in toolbox meetings and daily work briefings
• Identify technical issues and report them to the Engineer / Project Manager for further action
• Inspect completed maintenance works to ensure quality and client requirements are met

About you

• Willing to work at project/client sites and travel when required
