Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Electrical site engineer to supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities on large-scale infrastructure projects on site in Malaysia.
You will review drawings, monitor progress, and coordinate with civil, mechanical, QA/QC, HSE, consultants, subcontractors, and the client to ensure safe, compliant, and timely project execution, while preparing inspection reports, checklists, and progress updates for stakeholders.

Supervise and coordinate all electrical construction and installation activities on site.
Ensure electrical works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
Monitor daily site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved within the approved schedule.
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, QA/QC, HSE, consultants, subcontractors, and the client to ensure smooth project execution.
Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), cable schedules, method statements, and technical specifications prior to construction.
Supervise electrical installation works.
Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure workmanship, productivity, and quality meet project requirements.
Coordinate inspection and testing activities, including insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, cable testing, protection relay testing, and pre-commissioning works.
Support commissioning activities and assist in energisation and grid synchronisation in accordance with project procedures.
Ensure compliance with project QA/QC requirements by preparing inspection requests, checklists, and as-built documentation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
Monitor material deliveries, installation progress, and inventory to ensure timely project execution.
Identify technical issues, construction challenges, and design discrepancies, and recommend practical solutions.
Work closely with the Safety & Health Officer (SHO) to ensure compliance with HSE requirements, Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO), and electrical safety procedures.
Attend site coordination meetings, technical discussions, and progress review meetings with clients and consultants.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager.
