Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities for M&E projects in Penang. You will ensure works meet drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project schedules.

A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering (or related field) is required. Fresh graduates may apply; 2–3 years of relevant experience is preferred. AutoCAD proficiency and strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant construction experience preferred; fresh graduates may apply.
• Good understanding of M&E/MEP systems and construction works.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure works meet drawings, specs, quality, safety and schedule.
• Monitor progress of Civil, Structural, Architectural and M&E works.
• Coordinate M&E works including HVAC/ACMV, plumbing, fire protection, HV/LV electrical, UPS, generators and ELV.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and subcontractors on site progress and technical matters.
• Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings and installation details.
• Coordinate M&E works with other trades to ensure proper sequencing and avoid clashes.
• Identify missing or omitted works not clearly reflected in drawings or BoQ.
• Prepare site reports, inspection records, progress updates and handover documents.
• Assist in testing, commissioning and handover of M&E systems.
• Resolve site and technical issues and support the project team in achieving quality and schedule targets.
