Job summary

Yeo Plumber Sdn Bhd in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, is hiring a Site Safety Supervisor to lead safety, health and environmental activities on site. You will attend client meetings on safety matters, perform daily site inspections and supervise works to ensure compliance with the HSE Plan and DOSH requirements.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in Environmental/Health/Safety, at least 2 years of experience, a valid DOSH Yellow Book, English proficiency, and willingness to travel within

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience as Site Safety Supervisor in construction.
• Valid DOSH Yellow Book.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of ESH laws and client requirements.
• Own transport and willing to travel domestically on short notice.
• Malaysian citizen.

Responsibilities

• Fully in-charge and manage safety, health and environment at site.
• Attend meetings with clients on safety and health matters.

• Ensure safety policies, manuals, rules and procedures are in place and enforced at all times.
• Provide safety guidance and training on site to employees and subcontract staff.
• Monitor subcontractor's safety and health practices.
• Ensure good housekeeping and PPE compliance.
• Any other tasks delegated by Superiors.

Job description

Fully in-charge and manage safety, health and environment at site.

To attend meeting with clients with regards on safety and health matter.

Carry out day-to-day site safety inspection and supervise sites work to ensure that safety aspect is carried out in accordance with the HSE Plan.

To ensure safety policies, safety manuals, rules and procedures are in place and enforced at any time to ensure that all operations are carried out safely.

Provide safety guidance and training on site to employees and subcontract staff.

To monitor and control subcontractor’s safety and health practices.

To ensure good housekeeping at work sites.

To ensure all workers are complied to PPE requirements.

Any other tasks delegated by Superiors

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.

At least 2 year(s) of working experience as Site Safety Supervisor in construction industry.

Has a valid Yellow Book registered with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH)

Computer literate and with fair spoken & written English.

Knowledge in legal, ESH requirements by law and clients

Possess own transport and willing to travel frequently to site within Malaysia on short notice.
