Job summary

S.P. Mega Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to lead safety inspections and enforce risk controls at our East Ledang – Iskandar Puteri, Johor sites. The role requires coordinating with the SHO and project team, conducting toolbox talks, and ensuring PPE compliance.

With at least 2 years of site safety experience and a valid Yellow Book, you will manage safety records, perform risk assessments, and drive incidents investigations while maintaining a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Registered Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with DOSH/JKKP and possess a valid Yellow Book.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in site safety roles.
• Familiar with Malaysian construction safety regulations and site safety management.
• Able to conduct inspections, safety audits, toolbox meetings, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify hazards, unsafe acts, and conditions.
• Recommend corrective actions to eliminate or reduce safety risks.
• Lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site safety inductions for workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor housekeeping, access routes, scaffolding, machinery, lifting, work at height, excavation, and other high-risk activities.
• Assist in risk assessments and ensure control measures are implemented.
• Report and assist in investigating accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, toolbox meeting records, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with the Safety and Health Officer (SHO) and project team on safety matters.
• Assist in emergency preparedness activities and ensure procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Registered Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with DOSH/JKKP and possess a valid Yellow Book.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience and with hold yellow book issue by DOSH.
• Candidates must all the time be full time at site.
• Familiar with Malaysian construction safety regulations and site safety management.
• Experienced in site inspections, safety audits, toolbox meetings, and incident investigations.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health requirements and construction site safety practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to conduct site inspections, safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and safety monitoring effectively.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to be site-based in East Ledang – Iskandar Puteri , Johor.
• Only Malaysian.
