Job summary

Conseal Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Site Engineer to join our geotechnical team. You’ll be on the front line of foundation and slope works, coordinating with engineers on technically challenging projects.

This role goes beyond routine site supervision, requiring problem-solving, planning, and ensuring safety and quality on site across Klang Valley and potential outstation deployments. Fresh graduates are welcome; diplomas or degrees in civil engineering and ability to read drawings are

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 1–2 years site experience in foundation or geotechnical construction is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, soil investigation reports, and specifications.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; willing to travel across Klang Valley.

Responsibilities

• Site Management & Supervision: Lead and coordinate daily construction activities across foundation and geotechnical project sites.
• Manage subcontractors and site workers to ensure works are executed safely, correctly, and on schedule.
• Identify and resolve site issues before they become delays — proactive.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant worksite at all times.
• Project Planning & Execution: Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents to ensure full clarity before works commence.
• Monitor project schedules and flag risks early — keep milestones on track.
• Attend site meetings and liaise professionally with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
• Assist in planning, sequencing, and resource coordination for efficient project delivery.
• Geotechnical & Foundation Works: Foundation elements like micropiles, RC piles, bored piles, grout columns, ground anchors, underpinning; slope protection.
• Testing & QC: Pile load testing, integrity testing, quality control and inspection.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare accurate daily site reports, progress logs, and project documentation; ensure CIDB/DOSH/ISO compliance.

What You'll Do

Site Management & Supervision

Foundation: Micropiles, RC Piles, Bored Piles, Grout Columns, Ground Anchors, Underpinning

Slope Protection: Soil Nailing with Gunite Wall, Rock Bolt, Stressing Works

Testing & QC: Pile load testing, integrity testing, quality control and inspection

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare accurate daily site reports, progress logs, and project documentation

Ensure full compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards (CIDB, DOSH, ISO)

Record and elevate defects or non-conformances promptly for corrective action

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
