Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Project Management & Site Execution professional to oversee the delivery of complex construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will assist site managers with daily coordination, track progress and material delivery, and coordinate schedules and communications across teams. Strong on-site knowledge and safety awareness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge and experience on site.
• Thorough understanding of electrical systems and project coordination.
• Strong communication skills for meetings and liaising with users.
• Exposure to safety precautions in the working environment.

Responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Project Management & Site Execution

• Assist site managers in daily project coordination and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and communication between teams.
• Follow up on site progress, manpower, and material delivery status.
• Lead and coordinate overall site execution activities for multiple electrical work packages.
• Monitor project schedule, manpower allocation, work progress, and daily site operations.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to approved schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
• Develop recovery plans and mitigation actions for project delays or technical issues.
• Coordinate all project activities between subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client teams.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, trackers, and project documentation.
• Maintain proper filing systems for project records and submissions.
• Assist in preparing RFIs, material submissions, and as-built documentation.

Site Coordination

• Attend site meetings and assist with coordination activities.
• Support site inspections and progress tracking.
• Follow up with subcontractors on outstanding actions and work progress.
• Assist with testing & commissioning coordination and documentation.
• Support project handover and close-out activities.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• To have strong knowledge and experience on site
• To have a thorough understanding of the detailed analysis, design, development and implementation of electrical systems and project coordination
• To possess communication skills in meeting and liaising with users
• Exposure to safety precautions in the working environment for the worker's scope of work.
