Job summary

BNQ ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer for our Civil/Structural team in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan. The role oversees day-to-day site operations, ensures compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations, and coordinates between design teams, contractors, and site personnel.

We require 2–3 years of site engineering experience, a Civil/Structural degree, and strong reading of drawings. Competent in MS Office and project scheduling will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of site engineering experience in civil/structural projects.
• Solid knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and Malaysia regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of project management and construction scheduling.
• Excellent communication and team liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor on-site construction activities for compliance with plans and quality standards.
• Perform regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
• Review construction methods and ensure safe working practices on site.
• Document site activities and maintain labour, materials, and equipment records.
• Address technical design issues with the design team and propose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in quality control testing and materials verification.
• Manage site communications and coordinate project meetings.
• Support project managers in budgeting and cost control.
