Job summary

Bcb Berhad in Batu Pahat is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee civil and structural construction activities on site. You will ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and safety standards, while coordinating with project teams to maintain quality and schedule.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering degree and at least five years of site experience, along with strong communication and problem-solving abilities to manage on-site challenges and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Site Engineer or similar in construction.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating construction activities on site to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications and safety standards.
• Conducting site inspections, monitoring progress and identifying issues or discrepancies.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed project records including daily reports and progress updates.
• Collaborating with project managers, architects and other stakeholders to address challenges and implement solutions.
• Providing technical guidance and support to construction teams to ensure quality standards.
• Dealing with authorities for CFO, SAJ, TNB and others.
