Job summary

Novami Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering and 1-3 years of relevant experience to oversee construction projects. The role requires proactive communication with project stakeholders and the ability to work independently on site.

You will assist the Project Manager, participate in planning, monitor progress, and ensure quality across subcontractors and on-site teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing and supervising the construction project from conception to completion.
• Assist in work planning and sequencing of construction operations according to the project quality plan.
• Evaluate and report discrepancies and problems arising during construction progress that affect quality.
• Prepare project progress reports for top management.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with subcontractors and third parties to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct daily site briefings and monitor progress to anticipate delays in planned tasks.
• Coordinate additional/alteration work, maintenance, and defect work.
• Monitor the quality of works by subcontractors, workers, and delivered items.

Job description

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent;

At least 1-3 year(s) of relevant working experience;

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct daily briefing with site team and follow up work progress in order to anticipate any possible delay with regards to planned tasks.

To coordinate project work such as additional & alteration work, maintenance, and defects work.

To monitor the quality of works done by sub-contractors, workers, and items delivered to the site.
