Job summary

GEOTECHNICAL ALLIANCE SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager on daily activities. You will be involved in real projects, trials, testing, and documentation, not just desk work.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' experience in construction, with strong coordination across contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and management skills; able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential risks and implement preventive measures to minimise project delays and cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.
• Ensure works are executed efficiently, attend site meetings and report to the Project Manager.
• Work closely with contractors, subcontractors or architects to ensure smooth progress within budget and timeframe while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of construction materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Plan and monitor the work progress of the team for compliance.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, site diaries, change orders and quality control measures.
• Ensure minimal wastage at site and maintain housekeeping.
• Take up any ad-hoc responsibilities assigned.

Job description

We are looking for Project Engineer to support the Project Manager on their daily activities. He/She must demonstrate the right attitude and strong work ethics, with the ability to perform well under pressure, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to evolving project priorities.

This is not a desk-only role. You will be involved in real projects, trials, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities :-

Requirements :-

Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction or its related field.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.

Excellent interpersonal, leadership and management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Matured, enthusiastic, team player, and able to work under pressure.

Possess own transport, willing to travel and to be relocated to various project sites.
