Job summary

AMD Construction SB in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Site Engineer to assist the project manager with work programmes, scheduling, coordination, and supervision of site activities. You will record progress and help plan site works, with emphasis on safety and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings.

• Liaise with site personnel and sub-contractors to maximize productivity.
• Provide input on project strategy and issue resolution.
• Manage workload to meet deadlines and coordinate with others.
• Attend technical meetings with authorities and project team to coordinate design issues.
• Prepare and submit required documents to local authorities.
• Knowledge of PAM and JKR forms of contracts.

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our project team, to assist project manager to carry out work programme/schedule, to coordinate, monitor, supervise, record and plan site activity/works

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or building related field

Candidates with civil engineering / construction site experience will be prioritized

Knowledge of BIM modeling is an added advantage and will be prioritized

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Responsibility

Need to be able to read construction drawings

To adhere to the Safety & Health procedures and requirements.

To record and execute all aspects of contract administration in connection with the main contract and sub-contract.

Liaise with site personnel and sub-contractors to maximize productivity

Provide advice to the site team about all project issues, project strategy, and provide input for reviews.

The ability to manage workload and co-ordinate with others to ensure deadlines are met.

To have good IT skills and a knowledge of MS Project or similar.

To attend technical meetings with local authorities, and the project team to coordinate design issues.

Prepare and submit required documents to the relevant local authorities

Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.

Knowledge of site documents - NCR, RFI, CVI, etc.

Knowledge of PAM form of contracts and JKR form of contracts.
