JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee and supervise daily site activities including earthworks, ground preparation, site development, and civil construction works.
• Ensure all site activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, design requirements, and agreed project framework.
• Review engineering drawings, construction details, and technical specifications prior to work execution.
• Review slab design, foundation works, and other civil engineering elements to ensure compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.
• Monitor site preparation activities and ensure work readiness before construction commencement.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, workmanship, and compliance with approved plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical and site execution matters.
• Identify construction issues, non-conformities, or design discrepancies and propose practical engineering solutions.
• Monitor work progress against project schedule and report delays, risks, or potential issues affecting project timelines.
• Verify completed works and ensure compliance with quality requirements before handover.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical input on construction matters.
• Review contractor work submissions, method statements, and technical documentation where required.
• Assist in quantity verification, material inspections, and site measurements.
• Maintain proper records of site inspections, testing results, work progress, and project documentation.
• Prepare detailed reports on current site activities, progress status, observations, issues encountered, corrective actions taken, and recommendations.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, site development, or civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, and site management practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.
• Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel to project sites when required.
