We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring site activities, ensuring work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
The ideal candidate should have strong site experience, good technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at site
- Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site workers
- Monitor work progress and ensure project schedules are followed
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work meets required quality standards
- Review drawings and identify technical issues or discrepancies
- Coordinate and resolve site technical issues with the Project Manager / Site Manager
- Prepare daily site reports and progress updates
- Monitor materials, manpower, equipment, and site resources
- Ensure proper implementation of construction methods and procedures
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring
- Coordinate site measurements and assist with quantity verification
- Monitor subcontractor work and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Ensure all site activities comply with safety requirements
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant parties
- Assist in preparing documentation, inspection records, progress reports, and other project-related documents
- Perform other duties related to site and project management as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in construction/site engineering is REQUIRED
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer in the construction industry is REQUIRED
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, site operations, and project coordination
- Able to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and site activities
- Good understanding of construction quality and safety requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Able to work independently and solve site-related problems
- Willing to work at construction sites and travel when required
- Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
