Novami Holdings in Malaysia seeks a Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to supervise construction activities on site, ensuring works follow approved drawings, specifications and schedules.
You will monitor progress, manage site resources, conduct inspections for quality, safety and environment, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients to resolve issues and keep progress on track. Local regulations and CIDB/JKR standards adherence is essential.

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
At least 5 year(s) of relevant working experience in building construction;
Strong problem-solving skills; Physically fit and agile;
Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
Positive attitude, able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
Demonstrate good teamwork skills and maintain a strong team spirit with all relevant parties.
Plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of works.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, JKR specifications, CIDB regulations, and all applicable statutory requirements.
Monitor and control site productivity, manpower, machinery, and material utilization.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Identify site issues, technical problems, and construction risks, and implement corrective actions promptly.
Attend project coordination meetings, technical meetings, site inspections, and client meetings.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Maintain proper project documentation, including site diaries, inspection records, work permits, material records, and correspondence.
Review subcontractors' work progress and verify completed work for progress claims.
Ensure defects are rectified within the required timeframe.
Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and cost control.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
