The Civil Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating civil construction activities on site to ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities at the project site
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and progress monitoring
- Identify and report site issues, non-conformances, and delays, and follow up on corrective actions
- Assist in reviewing method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and other technical documents
- Monitor the quality and progress of civil works and ensure timely completion in accordance with the project schedule
- Maintain proper records of site activities, inspection reports, progress updates, and relevant documentation
- Ensure contractors comply with project safety requirements and applicable regulations
- Provide regular updates to the Project Engineer/Resident Engineer on site progress and issues
About you
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects
- Experience in industrial plants, energy, waste-to-energy, or similar projects will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, quality requirements, and site practices
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage site activities
- Good coordination, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with site supervision, inspections, quality control, and construction documentation
- Willingness to work on site and relocate/mobilise to the project location as required
- Immediate availability or ability to mobilise by September 2026 is preferred
