Humanetics Precision Metal Fabrication (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Import/Export Coordinator to manage factory import/export activities and related documentation. The role requires hands-on LMW experience, HS code knowledge, and strong liaison with customs, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
The successful candidate will ensure timely shipments, accurate records, and compliance with all LMW and customs procedures, with daily coordination across Warehouse, Finance,
Manage and coordinate all factory import and export activities.
Prepare, check and manage all relevant import/export, customs and LMW documentation and forms.
Ensure correct HS Code classification for imported and exported goods.
Handle day-to-day LMW-related matters, declarations, applications and documentation.
Work closely with the Warehouse team to ensure proper receiving, storage, movement and documentation of imported/exported materials and goods.
Coordinate with Finance when required on import/export documentation, customs matters, costing, duties/taxes and related matters.
Liaise with Royal Malaysian Customs, government departments, freight forwarders, shipping agents and other relevant parties.
Follow up and resolve any issues or queries relating to customs, LMW, import/export and documentation.
Attend government/customs offices when required to clarify queries, submit documents or resolve LMW/import/export matters.
Monitor shipments and ensure timely customs clearance.
Maintain accurate records of all import/export and LMW transactions.
Ensure compliance with applicable customs and LMW requirements and procedures.
Assist during Customs audits, inspections and LMW-related reviews.
Coordinate with internal departments including Warehouse, Purchasing, Production, Finance and Logistics.
Handle LMW and import/export matters independently with minimal supervision.
Minimum 3–4 years of relevant working experience in import/export, customs, logistics or a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience in LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) is required.
Good knowledge of LMW procedures, requirements and documentation.
Good knowledge of HS Code classification and customs procedures.
Familiar with import/export forms, declarations and supporting documents.
Experience dealing with Royal Malaysian Customs and government authorities.
Experience working with freight forwarders and shipping agents.
Good understanding of factory/manufacturing import and export processes.
Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to work independently and take ownership of LMW/import/export matters.
Willing to visit government/customs offices when required to handle queries or documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant import/export or customs systems.
Previous experience as an LMW Coordinator / LMW Executive / Import Export Executive.
Experience handling LMW matters for a manufacturing company.
Experience dealing directly with Customs officers and government authorities.
Familiarity with the company’s industry and products would be an advantage.
