Job summary

Lek Sun Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics/Export Specialist to oversee import/export shipments, liaise with forwarders, and ensure accurate shipping documents.

This role requires coordination of local and overseas shipments and troubleshooting delays to meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Logistics or International Business with 4–5 years in LM W/Import/Export, preferably in plastics manufacturing, and strong English

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics/International Business or equivalent.
• At least 4-5 years relevant experience in LMW/Import/Export/Shipping activities, preferably in the plastic manufacturing industry.
• Good command of English language with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and overseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments.
• Import & Export shipment related (local & overseas) such as truck booking arrangement & monitoring for export & import.
• Ensure accurately preparation of shipping documents and meet customers' need and requirement.
• Monitor and track all delivery status or changes and communicate the status to all relevant parties.
• Handling and resolving any issues with delayed shipments, lost or damaged items and customer complaints.
• Liaise with forwarder on custom clearance.
• Ensure freight forwarder perform custom clearance as per requirement.
• Prepare full set of shipping documents to customer correctly and accurately.

Job description

Knowledge in Custom LMW requirement. LMW license renewal, application of additional item to LMW material list, other requirement related on custom procedure, liaise with government authority customs & others.
