Job summary

Texchem Corporation Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a data entry clerk to handle shipping and delivery information, ensuring accuracy across orders and records. You will prepare delivery orders, invoices, packing lists, and customs forms, coordinating with warehouse staff, customers, and courier services to ensure on-time shipments.

This role requires at least SPM or a Diploma in Business Administration, with responsibilities including tracking shipments, updating status, and reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of SPM/Diploma in Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for shipping and delivery information.
• Prepare delivery orders, invoices, and packing lists.
• Check orders and ensure shipment details are accurate.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, customers, and courier/freight companies.
• Track shipments and update delivery status.
• Maintain shipping records and filing.
• Prepare GPB and customs forms.
• Arrange transportation for daily delivery.
• Update superior on delays or problems encountered during delivery.
• Update transporter forwarding agent statement every 15 days.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

Check orders and ensure shipment details are accurate.

Coordinate with warehouse staff, customers, and courier/freight companies.

Track shipments and update delivery status.

Maintain accurate shipping records and filing.

Prepare GPB and customs forms.

Arrange transportation for daily delivery.

Update and highlight to the superior any delays or problems encountered during delivery and other matters.

To update and check the transporter forwarding agent statement (every 15 days)

Any other job assignment as required by immediate superior / management from time to time.
