Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia, a key asset servicing hub, seeks a Client Operations Officer within the Settlements team. You will process and report settlement activities, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with procedures while resolving trade issues efficiently.

The role requires attention to detail, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Relevant finance-related degree preferred and 0–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or actuarial science or equivalent required.
• Experience in financial services operations is a plus.
• Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Extract reports and investigate trade settlement issues for solution
• Monitor system queue on specific trade statuses
• Perform trade repair in core system to allow accurate and timely trade settlement according to various market deadlines
• Follow up on all trade issues until complete resolution
• Ensure queries received are resolved in timely manner; follow up diligently until complete resolution
• Escalate operational issues according to escalation protocol
• Ensure that all instructions are processed following operating procedures
• Guide other team members as part of onboarding
